EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEY

Extraordinary Journey | 8 Days

Let us take you on an extraordinary journey through northern Tanzania, where you’ll witness spellbinding landscapes and encounter astonishing wildlife throughout your trip. We’ve hand selected some of the most highly regarded luxury camps in the country, to make sure every aspect of the trip promises unparalleled experiences, expert guiding and seamless service. Tanzania is a large country, with a varied climate. Generally, the long rains run from March to May – the temperature is warm and the humidity is high. June to October is the long dry season, and the short rains are in November and December, much lighter than the long rains. January and February are again dry (the short dry season) so this is another good time to visit.

Head towards the tallest kopjes in the park and a regular haunt for lions, Simba Kopjes. The highest kopje is called Soit Naado Murt (in Maasai, the Long-necked Stone). There are several game loops that encircle the kopjes and there is a small hippo pool to the south. To the west lies the shallow and saline Lake Magadi, a great spot for pink flamingos to gather.
