Days 1, 2, 3 | Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

When you arrive in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital city, you will be met by your driver, who will drive you through beautiful, farmed valleys to the Volcanoes National Park for three nights. This afternoon is free for you to unwind and prepare for one of Africa’s most incredible wildlife encounters — gorilla tracking. The Volcanoes National Park is one of Africa’s wildlife successes. Since the 1990s, people have come to monitor gorillas here, and the revenue produced by this has allowed Rwanda to not only protect but also grow the gorilla population. Tourist revenue has also allowed Rwanda to construct other national parks and reintroduce creatures that were previously extinct in the country.

This morning, you meet your crew, trackers, and guide for your gorilla tracking expedition on the slopes of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing at the park headquarters where you will learn more about the gorilla family, you will be tracking, you will depart on your gorilla safari. Trackers go out ahead of the squad to discover the gorilla family so they can point you in the right way. After you locate the gorilla family, you will be able to spend an hour with them as they go about their regular routines. This is one of the best animal encounters in Africa, and just a few people get to have it.

Day 4 | Kigali- Arusha

This morning, before returning to Kigali, you have the option of participating in additional activities in Volcanoes National Park. You can stop by the Kigali Genocide Memorial on your way to your hotel. This is a poignant memorial to the horrendous atrocities committed in Rwanda during the 1990s.

Day 6 | Fly from Arusha to Serengeti,

Wewill collect you from your Hotel in Arusha or the International airport transfer you to the domestic Arusha airport, where you have to report 45 mins to one hour prior to your flight. Board your 09.15 am flight to Serengeti ~ flying time approx 1 hour: Upon arrival in Serengeti at the airstrip, you will be received and transferred to your overnight lodge by the Driver-guide sent by the lodge. The safari vehicle will be a 4x4 such as a Land Cruiser or Land Rover. Your overnight lodge is an acclaimed property which offers beautiful views of the Serengeti National Park. Proceed for lunch [ in case of a morning flight arrival] and enjoy leisure time at the lodge. Experience your first Safari game drive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of Serengeti and see its amazing wildlife.

Day 7 | Enjoy Full day in Serengeti

Soon after breakfast you will depart to Enjoy full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking new pasture, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southernpl ains. We don’t have limited mileage, discuss with your driver on when you want to start and when you want to go back to your camp. You will enjoy your packed lunch in the picnic site then proceed with game drive for afternoon. The accommodation provides a seamless blend of contemporary luxury and authentic African charm. Each spacious tent is thoughtfully designed to offer a serene sanctuary amidst the untamed wilderness. Whether relishing the breathtaking views or enjoying the warm hospitality of the camp, every moment spent at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge promises to be an unforgettable journey into the heart of Africa’s untamed beauty.

Day 8 | Balloon Safari & Game drive in Serengeti

Pre-dawn transfer to balloon launch. 1-hour sunrise hot-air balloon flight over plains & herds. During this time, we will cover as much of the Central Serengeti as we can. Big herds and big cats that is what has made the Serengeti famous worldwide. Lion, leopard, and cheetah, will be our focus while in this very productive area. Again, you can expect to be up early and returning to camp in the evening, or as conditions warrant. Our long days will be rewarded with incredible photographic opportunities.Experience the captivating beauty of the endless grasslands and horizon of Central Serengeti, near Ngare Nanyuki River. As you take in the magnificent presence of wild beasts, antelopes, and zebras roaming freely, delight in the sight of countless bird species gracefully navigating the acacia trees, seeking moments of tranquility. The park, which covers over 14,750 square kilometers, is a sanctuary for diverse wildlife including the "Big Five" and is known for its large predator populations. It is a prime safari destination with varied landscapes ranging from grasslands to woodlands

Days 9 | Serengeti National Park

You’ll take an early flight into Tanzania and then to the Serengeti National Park from Kigali. Depending on the time of year, we will recommend a location for you to stay within the Serengeti National Park. The wildebeest migration is continually on the move as it follows the rains.
Beginning in the extreme south in December, where they give birth, they migrate north through the western corridor, eventually reaching the northern Serengeti and Masai Mara in June, July, and August. They then begin to migrate south along the Eastern corridor in September/October, returning to the Ndutu area in time to give birth in December.
There are numerous places to select from around the park, ranging from permanent lodges to luxury camps and more rustic mobile sites. Morning and afternoon game drives in quest of the abundant game are the major activities here. The Serengeti is a typical East African open grassy plain with enormous herds of animals such as gazelle, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, topi, rhino, and others. The Serengeti is also one of Africa’ s top predator habitats. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently sighted due to the abundance of prey species.

Day 10 | Fly Serengeti to Arusha

Breakfast and depart for a short game drive with packed lunch. Transfer to airstrip to board your flight back to either Arusha JRO Kilimanjaro International Airport / Meals: Breakfast | Lunch
